Resident Evil 4 e Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time.blitzkrieg - 16/4/2005 2:34 PM
Bom, ainda não comprei o RE4, para dizer a verdade, depois do WOwarcraft não comprei mais jogos por causa dos estudos. Infelizmente... porque o RE4 é de certeza a minha próxima compra.
Que é que andam a jogar?

Neste momento estou a jogar (outra vez) RE4.

RE: Game Cube Anyone? Parte 4

According to the preview, Link begins the game aged 16 in a place called Toaru Village (without his iconic green tunic, interestingly) and then grows up (and gets changed) as the game plays out.
Although play mechanics are said to be similar to Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker (with Z-targeting returning using the left trigger and automatic jumping still in place), fighting on horseback will play a major part for the first time, cuccos are back and, according to director Eiji Aonuma, the transparent water we've seen Link swimming through in screenshots will also eventually open the door to a new "sub-aquatic world".
Aonuma also revealed that this will be one of the biggest Zelda games ever, apparently two or even three times the size of Ocarina of Time with the potential for more than 70 hours of gameplay. We're always sceptical about these "X hours" claims, and it's not really quantified in the text, but it's sure to be appreciated by Zelda aficionados - assuming most of those hours aren't spent sailing around aimlessly, eh?
Aonuma said that the game's graphics, despite the rendered look, would be taking a stylistic approach heavily influenced by Japanese shonen (boys) manga, and not simply aping the CG look of Square Enix's current-gen Final Fantasy RPGs. The E3 demos, meanwhile, don't sound like they'll give us much of an impression of the dungeon design, but it sounds like we're in for some treats anyway. The first, set in Toaru Village, will be more of a tutorial than anything, while the second will see Link on horseback trying to guide cows into a stall on a ranch within a time limit - a bit like the old catching-chickens routine.
The third, however, sounds much more exciting. It sees Link on horseback tackling a horde of enemies led by a nasty fellow on an armoured boar. It all plays out on a huge battlefield, apparently, as Link uses his sword and bow (now with a limited range) to bring down his adversaries. Elsewhere, there's also said to be a battle on a bridge with Link using his sword to joust, so to speak. We'll bring you our own thoughts on the E3 showing once we're on the ground in LA. The show runs from May 18th to 20th, with a separate Nintendo event going on earlier in the week.
-Chicken gliding is back, and it looks just as silly as I'd imagined it would, in a "realistic" Zelda.
-Fishing also makes a comeback. (This looks pretty cool)
-"Eventually Link gets a wooden sword and learns combat in a familiar scarecrow-bashing tutorial"
At the begining, Link is this cowboy living in a small rural community Toaru village - not in Hyrule. Hyrule does exist, but it's a long way away. Actually, they raise cows in Toaru to sell to the kingdom of Hyrule. The two places have a freindly relationship with one another.
There are several other villages, and every year the kingdom of Hyrule gathers them all together for a kind of festival where all the villages can communicate with each other. Each year, the chief of the village is suppose to attend the festival, but this year, the chief orders this young man (Link) to go instead.
On the way to the festival, Link is going to encounter some kind of accident, which eventually leads him to the main adventure.
EGM: Will this Zelda be about rescuing the princess again?
Eiji Aonuma: Yes, the story will involve Zelda, and the story will involve Ganon, but of course the plot won't be identical to (those in) past Legend of Zeldas.
EGM: Where does this Zelda fit in the overall series timeline?
EA: I can't really go into that, partially because I want to keep it a secret, but also because we haven't decided yet. There are some kinds of...unstable, uncertain ideas we're working on. Depending on what course we choose in terms of developtment, the final ending may change.
EGM: Is it safe to say there is some major gameplay element we still don't know about, like the sailboat in Windwaker, that will remain secret until just before the game comes out?
EA: You're right. (laughs)
EGM: Is that why the game name still doesn't have a subtitle? Will the full name give something away?
EA: We really don't know what we're going to do with the subtitle at this point. (It could work the other way around)-maybe there will be some kind of mystery about the title, and somewhere in the course of the gameplay, you'll realize it's meaning.
EGM: From what we've played, the combat feels exactly like Windwaker-we noticed you can still smash shields, knock off helmets, etc. Do you have any changes planned?
EA: In Windwaker, if the enemy comes within a certain range of Link and you press the A button (at the right time), sometimes Link will do a special attack? We think that worked very well, so we're thinking about intensifying that aspect with this game. We've already added some things, like a jumping downward stab. We're going to incorporate more of those cool-looking performances (and a few other changes). People are going to see that this game is pretty different from Windwaker.
Scans de revista:You can see that Link will have a new farmer-like costume. But it is in which look to be the first zone of the game, a village called Toaru Village. They say that only the village was quite big, with several zones. Here we see the first Non Playable Characters, who have a very creative stile, between OOT and TWW.
One important thing about Link that we can only notice with his farmer costume: He has the Triforce mark in his left hand. AOL anyone? Another thing is that, even though Link will start the game being 16 years old, he will mature as the story goes on. There's no new info about the story of the game. That's because Aonuma says that they won't way any important things about it until the E3
The scenarios are beautiful, though they are similar to "Fable" (at least the village). Overall, the game has a Shonen Manga look. Aonuma says that they didn't want the game to be too realistic, like in a Square Enix's CG, so they chose this stile.
BTW... Cuccos are back! Only one appears, but it's more than enough to confirm it. They look more realistic than ever.
And more animals. A type of blue cows with huge horns that we find in a ranch (there's no sight of Malon or Talon, and the writer doesn't say anything about if they appear or not...) And this cows have some bad mood: in one pic one of them knocks Link out!
Now, let's go with the info:
The writer played with three diferent demos, as said before.
In the first demo, the writer played in Toaru Village, and he says that it looks to be the first zone of the game since the demo were a tutorial of the game. Aonuma's intention with this tutorial is making it fun to play, so the noobs of the series learn the basic controls quickly at the same time that experienced players have fun doing several actions. For example, we'll have to help a pregnant woman to carry some heavy stuff to her house.
The second demo happens in the ranch and it shows a mini-game. We'll have to ride the horse and guide all the cows to the stall in a limited time. The writer says that it is incredibly fun!
The last demo, and the most impresive of all, acording with the writer, was a horse battle scene. In that demo he had to fight a big enemy with armor, riding a boar (armored too) and a group of minions. There are two ways to defeat him: with the sword or with the bow. But we have to bee near enough to hit him (looks like the arrows won't have infinite range anymore) and get close to him, at the same time we dodge the minion's attacks. The writer says it is really intense! He also said that the battlefield was huge, what made him to ask Aonume how big the game is going to be. Aonuma said that the game is going to be two or three times bigger than OOT. Maybe even more. And they're trying the game to last 70 hours!
In this demo, there was also a new kind of horse battle: a joust! (Well... more or less. We won't use a spear, but the sword) This joust will be on a stone brigde over a canyon with beautiful looks.
Now to finish, in the last page of the article, they show a square with information of the next Zelda for NDS. Aonuma says that the concept will be quite different from the one in "Four Swords Adventures", though the interaction between characters will be similar. And another important thing: It will have on-line modes with the Wi-Fi of the handheld! He also says that it will use the touch screen and the double screen.
Well, nothing more. I'll try to make more detailed scans of the pics so you can see them, enjoy and start to speculate again lol My first speculation after seeing this new pics is that this Link is a new one. He's not TWW Link grown up. (It doesn't look like it in the new screens with his new costume)
